How to Root Nexus 10! [EASIEST METHOD]


For those of you who want to root your Nexus 10 Android tablet, here’s a step-by-step tutorial anyone can follow.  This is for Windows, Mac or Linux.

This will work on all Android versions including Android 4.2.1, 4.2.2, 4.3, 4.4.2, 4.4.3, 4.4.4, and Lollilpop 5.0.1/5.0.2/5.1.

(For rooting Android 4.3/4.4.2/4.4.3/4.4.4, the steps are exactly same except for Step 9, you need to download the latest version of SuperSU from ChainFire and use that instead of the one provided.)

Android 4.3 ROM + Root for Nexus 10!


As some of you may have heard, Google has finally released official Android 4.3 as of yesterday.  Well, it will eventually get pushed to your device if you are not rooted but for those of you who are rooted, you can easily update your Nexus 10 to the official Android 4.3 with root using the Android 4.3 ROM.  This is identical to the actual OTA update and you do not have to unroot to get it.

Simply, install the Android 4.3 ROM just as you would with any other custom ROM.  To get root, just install the latest SuperSU from ChainFire.

Android 4.2.2 ROM + Root for Nexus 10!


Rooted on a custom ROM on your Nexus 10? Or perhaps just rooted? You don’t have to unroot your Nexus 10 to get the latest Android 4.2.2, you can stay rooted and update to Android 4.2.2 easily by flashing an Android 4.2.2 ROM with root in ClockworkMod/TWRP recovery. (Just install the zip file without any data wipe/factory reset, also make backup ROM just in case!)

With the latest Android 4.2.2 ROM, you will get more stability and faster speeds, plus couple extras (like long-press in toggles to toggle wifi/bluetooth).

How to Unroot/Unbrick Nexus 10! [Factory Firmware]


For those of you who might have bricked your Nexus 10 or want to return your Nexus 10 completely back to a factory firmware, here’s how to unroot/unbrick your Nexus 10 completely back to factory firmware.  You can do this on Windows, Mac, or Linux.

Step 1. Hold down Power, Volume Up, and Volume Down button together for about 20 seconds until your Nexus 10 reboots into fastboot bootloader mode.
